Many times we are asked for recommended books regarding counseling theory and/or practice. Here is an annotated list of counseling-related books. The list is subject-specific and alphabetized for ease of use. Using our own criteria for sorting out weaker books from stronger ones (e.g., is the book God-centered or man-centered, grace-motivated or self-motivated, informational or transformational, simplistic or holistic), we will endeavor to update this listing on a regular basis.

Training Resources
Training aids are essential in communicating spiritual truths in a practical way for the counselee. We have carefully selected several slides for the counseling Christian. You may download, use, and adjust these to suit your particular needs. Please remember to acknowledge the originator of the slide you are using.

 

Forms
From time to time someone inquires about various forms we use at Grace Harbor Counseling Ministries. We have provided two of our personal counseling forms for your counseling ministry and personal use. You may adapt these forms to suit your particular needs. Once you alter the forms, please remove all GHCM notations.
